About Izuei, our eel culinary restaurant has been opened since the mid Edo era. At the time of the openeing of the eel restaurant, it was only a little shack. The shop you see from above UKIYOE painting had been after some year. Passed from generation to generation it has been said, that the eel restaurant started from the Shogun Tokunaga 8th Yoshimune period. We truly believe in our ancestors and we try to not to darken our house name.
